Account and Profile: When you create an account, we collect information such as your name and phone number. You may also choose to provide additional profile information which is not shared with other users unless you choose to do so.
Device Analytics: We collect data such as your local time, location, battery level, step count, and heart rate (when available) from your device. This data is used to automatically create your status, enabling you to share and connect with friends. Please note that Menow requires device analytics to be enabled for full functionality. You can temporarily disable this feature for up to 12 hours or indefinitely in your settings.
Communications with Us: Information you provide when you communicate with our customer support.
How We Use Your Information
Your information helps us to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, Improve, personalize, and expand our Services
- Automatically generate your status, enabling social interactions with your friends. You can delete your status, or pause the data collection anytime through your settings
- Understand how our Services are used
- Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the service, and for marketing and promotional purposes
Sharing of Your Information
Only your friends on Menow can see your status. Your status is safe and private, and it's not visible to the public. To see each other’s status, you both need to accept a friend request, ensuring your information is shared only with people you choose.
Menow does not share your personal information or tracking data with third parties. Your information is used solely for the purposes stated within this policy.
Data Collection and Use
We collect various types of information from your device when activated, including local time, location, and other relevant data to provide and improve our service functionalities. Menow uses algorithms on your device to process this data and identify significant activities.
When a significant activity is detected, this data is transmitted to our servers, where it is converted into status updates that are automatically posted to your profile. By signing up and using our services, you understand and agree to this processing and posting of status updates derived from your tracking data.
User Control and Data Management
You have control over the tracking data we collect. Each status update generated from tracking data can be individually deleted by you at any time.
Additionally, if you wish to pause all tracking temporarily, you can activate "Ghost Mode" in your settings, which stops all data tracking and transmission to our servers for 12 hours. For a more permanent solution, you can turn off all tracking by navigating to the "Advanced Settings'". These settings provide you with full control over your data and privacy.
Consent
It is important that you understand and consent to the collection and use of this information as described. By continuing to use our service after registering, you are explicitly consenting to the processing of your tracking data as detailed in this policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may delete your account through your settings, as outlined in the next section.
Account Deletion
You have the right to delete your account at any time. To permanently remove your account and all associated data, simply go to "Advanced Settings" and select the "Delete Account" option. Please note that this action is irreversible—once your account is deleted, all stored data will be permanently erased and cannot be restored. Make sure you are certain before proceeding with account deletion.

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.
